A REPUBLICAN PARTY CONTENDER FOR THE WHITE HOUSE
As your President and Commander-In-Chief, my solemn duty to America and to the American people would be to protect and defend the integrity of this great nation from both external aggression and internal uprisings.
On the count of external aggression, the prescriptions of our constitution and the prescriptions of the laws of the land are there to guide me on how to war against our enemies, defeat them, and return glory and spoils of war to the land. But when the aggression is coming from within, sometimes the laws are not clear-cut on how to address threats that seek to undermine our national security.
In recent times, it has been reported widely that citizens of this great nation have traveled overseas to fight for ISIS, a terrorist organization that is at war with the United States. And some of them after fighting for ISIS in Syria and Iraq have returned home to this country.
When our citizens go abroad to fight for an entity that is at war with us, they are denouncing their own country and taking sides with our enemies. Ipso facto, they declare themselves enemies of this great land. Subversives. And by every parameter should be considered as such.
Of course they were already radicalized and have no more allegiance to the United States. Hence their resolve to travel abroad to fight on the side of our enemies. Of course while they were abroad fighting for the haters of civilization, they would be indoctrinated further that America is the enemy and needs to be brought to its knees. And of course their indoctrinators after indoctrinating them are somehow convinced that they have secured for their evil agenda some devout disciples in these American citizens – who by the way have unfettered access to every nook and cranny of our country – who would do their bidding whenever they bid them to and whatever they bid them to. Hence ISIS’s promise to us that they ‘Will Raise the Flag of Allah in the White House.’
This is not an empty threat. That is why I called it a promise even though the caption on the newspaper where I culled it from captioned it a threat.
With their pedigree and the rate at which they have grown over the years, it would be remiss on our part to ever again underestimate ISIS and their threats. Our president was wrong when he referred to them as a JV team and they have repeatedly embarrassed him for such underestimation.
Never again.
ISIS did not make its promises about attacking us with muslim-looking or middle-eastern looking men in mind as their pall bearers. No. they want to attack us from within through our own. They want to attack us using folks that look like us. Our children. Our brothers. Our friends. Our neighbors. Our sisters. Hence they send them back to dwell among us after indoctrinating them against us. And they are quietly bidding their time. And horning their plans. And they will attempt to strike us.
Once beaten, twice shy. I promise you that if you elect me your President and Commander-In-Chief, that I will not be the president that will allow another 9/11 to happen in our time or the president that will underestimate our enemies and be globally embarrassed by my idealistic summation of their abilities.
Upon taking my oath of office next January, my first order of business would be to order my secretary of homeland security and the justice department to utilize all the tools at their disposal to arrest all known American citizens who has traveled abroad to fight for ISIS and are now back in the country. It was a reckless policy of the Obama Administration, having established that these guys traveled abroad to fight for ISIS, to let them through our borders. Just like that. With the caveat that they will be under constant surveillance by the FBI. Would that not be an unnecessary waste of resources when they could have been easily arrested at the border as enemy combatants and then given their days in court to tell the American people and our justice system what they were doing fighting for our enemies abroad. Letting them back in the country just like that is an error of judgement on the part of President Obama. These guys are American citizens who are foolish and radicalized enough to embark on such dangerous escapades knowing full well the national security implications of their move. Yet they made the move anyways. Hence any and every measure we take against them in order to preserve the national security of this country is justified. Arresting them and giving them their days in court on the count of being subversives would not be a tramping on their rights as citizens. Rather it is the upholding of the rule of law in the service of preserving our society. What would be undemocratic is denying them their day in court.
And we do not need any evidence of intent to carry out domestic terrorism on their part before we can arrest them. The fact that they traveled abroad to fight on the side of our enemy is evidence enough for an arrest.
It can also be rightfully deduced that these guys are future proxies of ISIS who will carry out their purposed attacks on our homeland whenever ISIS gives them the go-ahead. They are the worst kind of enemies this country faces in contemporary times. An enemy from within. So I reiterate my convictions that letting them back into this country was a foolish policy. What happens when one, two, or some of them slip FBI surveillance and the next thing we hear is that they have exploded a bomb in the White House? And that I cannot and will not allow to happen as your Commander-In-Chief. Arresting these people would have been a precautionary measure to ensure that we do not allow another Osama bin Laden slip through our hands when we had a clear shot at him in Sudan only for 9/11 to happen 3 years later. Folks, there is a difference between idealism and pragmatic policies that gets things done.
Our enemy wants to defeat us by exploiting our values and rule of law. We will not abandon our values and we will not dump our democratic system of government in the fight against terrorism. But we will not rest on our oars while the enemy tries to defeat us through weaknesses in our system. As your president, I will work with Congress to make our rule of law system smarter and adaptable to the present security threat we face. As your president, I will protect, I will defend, and I will defeat every enemy to the national security of this great country. Give me your vote.
Let the debate continue…
