While our country is in chaos, with the Democrats grappling in the dark and Republicans clueless about governance, do we know what Russia – who successfully manipulated our political discourse into a state of paralysis – is doing in the world?
How did we get to where we are as a nation?
We are no longer the world leader that nations look up to. Somehow Vladimir Putin, a former KGB has become a role model to the GOP. Citizens go on television and say our president can act like a king if he wishes to. Nepotism has become an accepted norm in our polity. Democrats have four times in a space of 6 months failed to provide answers to a confused nation that is earnestly seeking an alternative to idiocy. Our Commander-in-Chief believes Russia over his own intelligence community, both military and civilian intelligence.
How did we get here?
Have we pondered for a minute how North Korea quickly got to a place where they now have an ICBM? Was it Russia that smuggled the technology to them under the watchful eyes of no one after they orchestrated a vacuum in global leadership? We don’t have a leader and we don’t have an answer.
How did we get here?
We have a president that traded America for loyalty to a KGB spy. We have half of the nation abandoning their sacred allegiance to America in their defense of a sinking ship. We have an attorney general that have repeatedly lied to Congress under oath. We now have a private prison industrial complex. Idiocy as opposed to intelligence, have become elevated in the nation, by the White House, and half of the nation have fallen in line. Our infrastructure is in ruins. There are not that many secure and career jobs for the middle class. The average Joe is working 3 jobs to provide the basic minimum for his family. Investment in education and R&D have been relegated to the background. The triple-D winning we were promised during the campaign was just another lie. I mean, what will happen to our country when 18 months into his administration a burner phone is discovered implicating our president in an attempted murder of a journalist?
We have become so obsessed with the theatrics of the past six months. And have abandoned objective journalism. We wanted better ratings for our shows, more clicks on our websites, and more ad money. That’s ok. We can appreciate that. We have forgotten that we were elected to serve this country and not our political parties. That awareness has been lost in Congress for a while now. Yeah. We can politik and be partisan sometimes. It can be healthy for the system. And we have become so apathetic to the goings on in Washington DC. How corporations have hijacked our government for their bottom line and uses the media to pit us against one another. We have so forgotten that real power domiciles with we the people. In the frenzy of our emotions and prejudices, which is fanned by corporations’ desire to keep us blinded to how they are milking our country for their personal gains, we have quickly forgotten that real change on how Washington governs us comes from us.
We have enjoyed the comedy. We have become so unproductive a Congress. And we have slumbered enough.
It is time to get back to the business of restoring America to its primal place of global dominance. In economic prosperity, as an unrivalled military power, as an education powerhouse, an innovation hub, and a political system that is revered even by our adversaries. My point is this, vacation is over, fellow citizens.
Let the real change begin…
I read something on CNN that Russia is secretly supporting North Korea on their nuclear program. You are right in your surmises. Yet our president romances Putin. Only God and Trump knows what Putin have on him. But we will find out very soon. Wouldn’t we. 18 months into his presidency. One more year to go

Thank you Amanda. I research my subjects thoroughly before I publish them because I have to be as objective as I need to be. By the way the North Koreans have tested another ICBM yesterday being Friday 07.28.17 which have the capability of reaching Chicago. So go figure. The republicans are absolutely governing us and are concerned with our national security very well!

I really do not know how to interpret your comment, Matthew. Am not the president. Am just a concerned citizen speaking from a position of my civic duty to my fellow countrymen to sit up and get our country back to the right course. That is it.

We got here by stupid democrats making stupid laws without involving republicans. We got here by coward Obama drawing a line in the sand and couldn’t man up after Assad crossed the line. We got here by Obama opening our borders to Muslim terrosists who don’t like us and want to harm us. We got here by obamas anti business regulations. You wanna hear more

Brad, if we can stop the name calling and get our facts right, that will help us a great deal in the educated and informed debate we are trying to have on this platform. Thank you

Those are undeniable facts, Mandy. But what kind of jobs are those? One in which people are employed on a part time and temporary basis and paid meager wages or one in which rewarding careers can be achieved? Those facts matter too

Ike, please you should resist the urge, at least on this platform, to call names to a person who is simply exercising his 1st Amendment rights. It is not healthy for the kind of conversations we want to have on this platform
